IT and network requirements
Octane is a JAVA web application that runs in the Tomcat application server. All required software are open source and free of charge. We provide you with all the required installers so you do not need to look for them online. Installation typically takes less then 1 hour and we provide online web based installation support.
Octane may be installed on an existing server. It only needs to have port 8080 open by default. Any existing firewalls and or proxy servers must be configured to allow access.

- PC running Windows XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Windows 7, Ubuntu 8 or greater.
- 20 GB free disk space. Additional disk space may be required as attachments are added.
- A SMTP mail server login.
